Geocaching Australia Geocaching is the free high-tech treasure hunt where you use your GPS receiver to find caches hidden by other players. It's a great way to be outdoors and enjoy the thrill of the hunt!
Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for gps users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a gps unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.
Caughtatwork started Geocaching on 13-May-2004. We are a team of 3 main members and 1 member who comes along only if there's nothing better to do.
Team member 1 is a 40ish male who likes to think he's not a nerd, but is probably fooling himself. Team member 2 is in her teens and thinks this game is 'kind of kewel'. Team member 3 is a young girl who loves the treasures she gets from the caches. Team member 4 is a lady whose age is not going to be shared.
Thanks for taking the time to look at our nerdiness.
