If I were in Florida and dropped a cricket ball into a bucket of water which was at a temperature of 45 degrees F and dropped another identical cricket ball into a identical bucket of water at a temperature of 30 degrees F, which cricket ball would hit the bottom of the bucket first?

The ball in the bucket with the water at 45 degrees F would hit the bottom first. The other bucket is frozen!
