I bumped into an old colleague of mine the other day that I hadn't seen since we were at medical school some 20 years ago.
'Well, how are you?' I asked.
'Couldn't be better', was the reply, 'I'm now the Chief Surgeon at the local hospital.'
'Excellent', I responded. 'And the little girl with you, is she yours?'
'Yes she is, while we have been out of touch, I got married.'
'And what is your name?' I asked the little girl.
'Mary', she replied.
'Oh, how sweet', I responded, 'the same as your mothers'.
How did I know the little girls mothers name was Mary?
Simple, my friend, the Chief Surgeon is the little girls mother, Mary.
